Winning Web Content: Keep It Short & Snappy

"Vigorous writing is concise. A sentence should contain no unnecessary
words, a paragraph no unnecessary sentences, for the same reason that a
drawing should have no unnecessary lines and a machine no unnecessary
parts."- William Strunk Jr., Elements of Style

As an unwritten rule, web sentences shouldn't contain more than twenty
words, and a paragraph should not contain more than six sentences.

But don't be afraid to inject some pace into your writing by varying the
length of sentences.

The goal is to convey as much as possible with as few words as possible
while still observing the rules of readability and a conversational tone.
